 The People, Centers and Processes  

Akshay’s centers are well equipped with latest hardware and software platforms. These include latest NT, Solaris and Linux servers. There is a well-staffed Systems Administration/Networking department that maintains the internal network (Intranet) as well as connectivity between various locations and Client development facilities. 

The facilities are connected to the Internet with leased high-speed lines. Firewall servers secure these networks. Each individual member in the project is identified by unique email-ids, which enables the Client staff to interact with a team member at any of the remote locations via email if needed. We have also installed secure FTP server for exchange of project files between India and client locations. We can also connect securely when needed, with the Client’s test/development server through telnet, VPN, FTP or specific tool based clients.  

We have multiple facilities one at Edison, NJ and off-shore facilities in Mumbai and Chennai in India. There is over 6,000 sq. ft in Mumbai alone that possess’ the hardware, software and communications infrastructure required for international BOP and MT. Currently our seating capacity is 250 people working 3 shifts. However, with the availability of multiple locations there is an immediate opportunity to scale-up the operations . 

We provide Comprehensive Security including facility security (24x7 guarded, security restricted access to sensitive areas, facilities for camera monitoring from remote locations), network security, transmission security and legal contracts with employees / suppliers. We can offer highly secure Data Backup in different offices in the same city, different cities and different countries.  

We provide a local US / UK presence for easy customer access. Along with our centers in India, this allows us the ability to provide 24x7 support. 

Akshay has infrastructure already in place to service all kinds of BPO requirements. Akshay has the ability to draw quickly on specialist resources for executing assignments in specific verticals.  

It is also compliant with US/ UK regulations on confidentiality of data (notified under UK’s Data Protection Act registration number PZ822456X). Further, our Mumbai facility is certified for ISO 9001:2000 by KPMG.
